From Germania Mutual Insurance is among many donors for this years Healthcare Heroes Radiothon.
Dan Hill was the company's representative, presenting the Radiothon with a cheque for $10,000.
That helped pushed the 2pm total to $253,109.
The CKNX Healthcare Heroes Radiothon ends at 4pm today.

Wightman Telecom's "Heels for Hospitals" has raised more money for the annual CKNX Healthcare Heroes Radiothon.
The cheque for $13,040 was presented by Wesley and Hope Reidt today.
As of 1pm $190,580 has been raised during the 14th annual event.
Hope explains how important involvement from the community is for raising money for local hospitals.
"The funds used to buy equipment, we don't receive any of that money from the government. It's by people giving," she says.

Two more cheques have been donated to todays Radiothon.
Charlie Bodle and Jake DeRuyter from the Clinton Lions Club presented cheques of $300 and $3,900.
DeRuyter expressed why donating to these hospitals is beneficial.
"It's health care and it's something everybody needs for all ages," says DeRuyter.
The Clinton Lions Club has been donating to the Radiothon for several years now.

The total continues to climb at the 14th Healthcare Heroes Radiothon on CKNX.
In two hours $68, 935 has bee raised.
One of many cheques being presented today came from West Wawanosh Insurance. Brian Mckay is the representative from West Wawanosh and presented a cheque worth 10, 000 to the Radiothon.
"We feel it's a way to give back to the community. Our policy holders are fairly wide spread so this way we can give something that touches everybody."

The 14th Annual Healthcare Heroes Radiothon continues until 4 o'clock today.
And for the first hour, $21,750 has been raised.
Darren Stevenson is the chair of the radiothon committee and says the success of the event is because of the great community support.
"It's been a lot of work from a lot of people and a lot of support from a lot of people," he says. "A lot of that $9-million was $10, $20, $50 at a time."
