Kincardine native Taylor Schmidt is playing on a sponsor exemption at the 2nd Annual Garden City Charity Classic at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, Kansas.
It's part of the Symetra Tour. This is Schmidt's fourth Symetra Tour event.
One hundred thirty two top professional golfers from 23 countries are competeing for the chance to win a $15,000 paycheck and to move up the money list. The top earner at the end of the year will earn LPGA Tour membership. The Garden City Charity Classic total purse is $100,000. Schmidt tees off at 8:45 a.m. EDT.
