Bluewater council has delayed a decision to start work on a washroom in Clan Gregor Square in Bayfield.
Mayor Tyler Hessel explains the municipality's partners in the project, the Lions and Optimists Clubs of Bayfield, wanted clarification on designations in the building code as well as more information on their financial numbers.
There were some concerns about the agreement with the architect and whether the project was going to come in within the budget.
Hessel points out work on the washroom was not likely going to start until the spring, so the delay won't hold up construction.
