The framework to get natural gas service into Milverton in Perth County is being set up.
Union Gas filed an application with the Ontario Energy Board today, seeking regulatory flexibility for extending service.
Milverton is one of six communities slated to see natural gas projects completed in 2016.
Earlier this month, a report to Perth County stated construction could start as soon as this fall if all of the approvals were in place.
The natural gas project would follow Perth Rd. 130 north into Milverton.
