Toronto Maple Leaf Nick Spaling is in Palmerston Saturday helping out a Palmerston Marlins Squirt fundraiser.

Spaling and the Marlins will be at Krown Rust Control on the Main St. between 9am and 2pm for a fundraising car wash with proceeds going to the Children's Wish Canada Foundation.

Spaling, who was acquired by the Leafs in their high-profile trade involving Phil Kessel earlier this month, is one of the several NHLers taking part in next month's Hometown Heroes charity hockey game in Goderich next week.
