The future of the Goderich Trotting Association at the Agricultural Park is still up for discussion.
Earlier, Goderich council voted to renew the lease for the park for one year only, to terminate on June 30, 2016.
The lease was then referred back to staff who were to bring a recommendation back to council.
Goderich CAO Larry McCabe says that will involve a review of the lease which was prepared by the YMCA, and then a recommendation will come back to council.
Some councillors are opposed to the lease.
