A motorcyclist faces a careless driving charge after a crash on Hwy. 23 north of Listowel.
Police were called to the scene of the crash near the intersection of Hwy. 23 and Line 90 Wednesday morning around 10am. Police say traffic had slowed down and a motorcyclist dropped his bike and it slid into the back of a Toyota Corolla.
The male rider suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the car, a 77-year old woman from Wellington North, was not hurt.
54-year old David Brown of the Town of Minto has been charged with careless driving.
