A new logo brings a refreshed image to the Municipality of Bluewater.
The municipality rolled out the new logo today as part of a branding initiative.
Bluewater hired Erin Samuell of "A Simple Photograph" in Bayfield to assist in the design through a request for proposals.
Samuell will also consult with stakeholders, council and staff in the first phase of a website redevelopment project.
The new logo will soon be found on municipal vehicles, public notices, reports, agendas, and the website.
“Council and staff want to build and project a favourable image to our residents and key community stakeholders and we realize that a new logo must be supported by good governance, strategic management and administration, and quality programs and services,“ said Bluewater Mayor Tyler Hessel. “Having a positive image and powerful brand will also bolster our economic development and marketing strategies to attract tourists, residents, and investment to Bluewater.”
