Graffiti Painted On OFSC Trail Bridge Near Owen Sound

Grey County OPP are looking for a suspect involved in painting graffiti on a bridge Saturday evening.

Just before 9 p.m. police were called after a unknown male youth was observed 'tagging' the bridge on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Club (OFSC) trail off of Hwy. 6 & 10, near Circle Drive, in the Municipality of Meaford.

The suspect is described as being approximately 16-17 years of age with dark hair and glasses.

He was wearing a red jacket and carrying a red backpack, and was last seen leaving the area on a mountain bike towards Owen Sound.

Red spray paint was used to tag the bridge.

Police remind residents that graffiti is a Criminal Code offense and can be punishable for up to a 10 year prison sentence.
