Georgian College Culinary Management students got a chance to meet former House of Commons Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers.
Vickers was appointed Canadian Ambassador to Ireland, after he chased down and shot a gunman on Parliament Hill last October.
The Owen Sound students were working with students from The Dublin Institute of Technology's Culinary Degree Program.
They created a cross cultural culinary menu to celebrate the new partnership.Vickers was on hand to mark the occasion, as guests were served everything from caviar to buffalo.
