Wellington North and Minto are getting ready to give away 5,000 tree seedlings each on Saturday.
It's part of the Wellington County Green Legacy program which has given away over one million trees since 2004. It is the largest municipal tree planting program in North America.
The Wellington North event runs from 9am-11am at the Kenilworth municipal office.
Minto's giveaway will go from 8am-10am at the municipal office just east of Harriston.
Donations will be accepted at both give-aways. In Minto it's for the food bank, and in Wellington North it's for the horticultural societies in Mount Forest and Arthur.
