Grey Bruce Health Unit Shares Community Conversations

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is exploring ways to make the community a better place.

Last year the Health Unit organized a series of community conversations to identify strengths and weaknesses in Grey and Bruce. About 400 people took part.

This week the results of those conversations are being presented.

The Health Unit's Lynda Bumstead says challenges identified included economic development, affordable housing and transportation. She says now the goal is to come up with action plans.

"Where do we go from here. What kind of action can we take because it real is going to be all of us coming together to solve these issues," said Bumstead.

Highlights from the community conversations are being presented this week at four locations;
