Bruce Power Holding Public Meetings In Kincardine

Bruce Power's lengthy re-licensing process will continue tonight.

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission will be holding public participation meetings today, tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.

Bruce Power is applying for a five-year renewal for the Bruce A and B reactors.

The meeting will start at 6:30 tonight at the Davidson Centre.

Meanwhile, two of the experts who will be presenting at the hearings are holding their own separate presentation to explain the flaws they’ve found in Bruce Power’s licence application.

Greenpeace and the Canadian Environmental Law Association will provide a briefing this afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 at the Kincardine Library.
