The public can comment on the proposed development charge up to and including at a public meeting at the next council meeting on April 15.
Solar farms have been added to the list of developments subject to a development charge in the proposed bylaw.
If approved, it will amount to $2.36 per sq ft of solar panel. Southgate has a 400-acre solar farm in the works.
