Owen Sounders are looking at a 2.1 per cent increase in property taxes for the coming year.
City council passed its 2015 budget last night, showing a 4.4. per cent increase in overall projected spending.
The 2.1 per cent is the final figure when combining the education and county portion of the tax bill.
Mayor Ian Boddy says council does its best to keep the increase low.
"A two point one per cent tax increase, levy increase, I think is probably the lowest in six or eight years so we're happy that we're able to get there."
Owen Sound's total budget for 2015 is 26.4 million dollars.
