An exhibit-on-wheels about the Canadian Honours System is in Exeter today.
The specially-designed tractor-trailer is on the road for the next four months visiting schools, community centres, special events and small towns.
It showcases stories of Canadians who have been recognized with national honours such as the Order of Canada, and Decorations for Bravery and Military Valour.
It's at South Huron District high school in Exeter today and tomorrow. High school classes will tour the exhibit through the day, and it opens to the public from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. both afternoons.
The "It's An Honour" rig will be in Goderich on Friday at the high school. Once again, classes from G.D.C.I. will visit through the morning and early afternoon, and then it opens to the public from 3:00 to 6 p.m. It will remain parked at the Goderich high school Saturday, and will be open to the public from 10:00 to 5 p.m.
From there, it heads to Owen Sound, where it will be parked at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre on Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th. It will be open to the public in Owen Sound from 11:00 to 6:00 p.m. both days.
