BlackburnNews.com photoPerth County OPP have re-opened Highway 7&8 at Perth Road 101 following a crash earlier this afternoon.
Police and Township of Perth East fire department personnel were called early this afternoon to the scene of a jackknifed tractor trailer on Hwy. 7/8 between Road 101 and Road 102 at the west edge of New Hamburg.
The truck portion of the tractor trailer was hung-up on the guardrail and there is a minor fuel spill.
Police have not yet released any details on injuries or the cause of the crash.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
