From 2:30pm:

The extreme cold advisory for the region may be over for now, but we're in for a blustery afternoon and evening across Midwestern Ontario.

Blowing snow has already led to some road closures including Highway 21 from Sunset Beach Road (north of Goderich) to Amberley as weather conditions produce some drifting and poor visibility.

Environment Canada has issued a Blowing Snow Advisory for Grey, Bruce, Huron, and Perth counties with 2 to 4 cm of snow expected to accompany a strong southwest wind gusting to 50 km/h, or stronger this afternoon.

Another 2 to 4 cm of snow is expected tonight.
