The man charged with first degree murder in the death of an Owen Sound woman made a brief court appearance on Friday.
28-year-old David Small was remanded into custody and will return to bail court on Tuesday. He was arrested and charged Friday in connection to the death of Lezleigh Hopkins.
The 28-year-old was found dead in a 2nd Ave. W home back in January.
A publication ban was obtained by one of Crown attorneys in the case.
Small is the only person Owen Sound police and the OPP have outstanding in the case.
