Wellington North got good news from the province in terms of infrastructure funding.
The $300,000 funding will continue for three years.
The money is to be used for core infrastructure such as roads and bridges. It cannot be used for costs such as buying land or growth-related expansion.
"We have many infrastructure projects that need attention and the dollars and the commitment over the next three years is going to be welcome," says Wellington North Mayor Andy Lennox.
