The Community Foundation Grey Bruce will announce a significant donation from the Eva Leflar Donor Fund in Meaford Tomorrow.
The donation will support 20 food banks in Grey and Bruce and winter warmth initiatives.
The announcement at 10am at Meaford Hall tomorrow marks the 20th anniversary of the Community Foundation Grey Bruce, and is also on National Charitable Giving Day.
The Meaford Community will also undertake a Merry Christmas Meaford Campaign to draw attention to the Meaford Community Fund.
The fund supports grant applications make to the foundation to support projects and programs in Meaford.
In 2014, the Community Foundation Grey Bruce distributed almost $600,000 to charity and not for profit organizations.
