Last summer's Cargill Homecoming has provided more than just memories.
Homecoming co-chairs Steph Fortney and Michelle Wilhelm have announced that the event raised over $40,000, which will be used to support community projects and community service.
“All of this could not be done without an outstanding Homecoming Committee, the community of Cargill and the area’s spirit of volunteerism,” says Fortney. “Everyone involved made sure everything was looked after to the finest detail to make sure it was a smooth running and truly enjoyable event for everyone.”
Held July 31 through August 4 this year, Cargill welcomed home thousands of former residents, families and friends and offered a wide range of activities for everyone.
“On behalf of the Cargill Homecoming 2014 Committee we would like to thank everyone for making this event such a huge success and we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2024,” says Wilhelm.
