Unique Courses at Norwell District

Grade 8 students will have some interesting new courses to choose from at Norwell District Secondary School in Palmerston.

The school is offering two new unique course options.

The Hockey Skills Development Program is a two credit package combining hockey, first aid, coaching and fitness.

The Arts Performance Project offers off site classes at Drayton Festival Theatre. The two credit course is aimed at students interested in dance, music, visual arts or theatre.

Principal Paul Richard will introduce the new courses at the annual Grade 8 Night at the school on Tuesday December 9.

“Students can earn two credits and do something that engages them right from the beginning of their high school career,” says Richard.

The evening runs from 6:30pm to 9pm at Norwell District.
