Free virtual mental health training for Ontario Agriculture Community

Agriculture Wellness Ontario is offering free mental health training for the agricultural community through the "In the Know" program.

This mental health literacy initiative is designed specifically for farmers, their families, and those supporting the agriculture sector.

The four-hour workshops, led by Canadian Mental Health Association professionals, use real-life agricultural examples. Participants will learn about mental health stigma, common stressors, warning signs of mental health issues, starting conversations about mental health, and self-care.

Upcoming sessions are on August 12 and September 18, 2024.
