Grey Bruce OPP are thanking the public for their help identifying a pair of suspects in a recent shoplifting incident in Meaford.
The theft happened just after 7 p.m. last Friday at a business on Sykes Street. Police did not comment on what was taken from the store or attach an approximate dollar figure to the theft.
On Tuesday morning, surveillance images of a man and woman police called "persons of interest" and a white four-door sedan were released to the public. Anyone who recognized the pair were asked to call police.
Within hours, police confirmed the two people pictured had been identified.
