The London Knights dropped a 3-1 decision to the Peterborough Petes in OHL action on Thursday.
The Petes scored 11:24 into the first period to take a 1-0 lead, and then extended it to 2-0 in the second. JJ Piccinich scored early in the third to put London on the board, but Peterborough followed up with an empty net goal, 19 seconds before the end of the game.
London goaltender Tyler Johnson made 34 saves out of 36 shots on net.
The Knights will try to bounce back when they take on the Guelph Storm at Budweiser Gardens on Friday at 7:30pm.
