The London Knights dropped a 4-3 decision in overtime against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Friday.
The Greyhounds took a 2-0 lead in the first period, but Owen MacDonald cut their lead in half with a goal 3:25 into the second. Sault Ste. Marie tacked on another goal to their lead before London's Janne Kuokkanen scored to make it 3-2 going into the third.
The Knights tied things up in the final frame to force OT thanks to a goal from Cliff Pu, however the Greyhounds won the game with a goal 39 seconds into extra time.
Despite the loss, London out shot Sault Ste. Marie 34-25.
The Knights are back on the ice on Saturday at 7pm to take on the Sarnia Sting at Budweiser Gardens.
