The London Lightning were shutdown 114-110 by the Saint John Mill Rats after a comeback performance in the fourth quarter.
On Friday, the Lightning scored a 26-22 advantage in the first quarter and extended their lead to 62-56 at halftime. The Mill Rats narrowed the gap in the third, but London held on to a 84-79 lead going into the fourth. The Mill Rats made a comeback in the final minutes to overtake the Lightning for a narrow win.
Akeem Scott led London with 25 points and ten assists. Eric Kibi, Stephen Maxwell and Ryan Anderson all finished with seven rebounds.
The Lighting travel to the Charlottetown Civic Centre on Saturday to take on the Island Storm at 7pm.
