A section of a north London road is being shut down for 12 hours for much needed repair.
Sunningdale Road East between Richmond Street and Adelaide Street North will be closed to traffic as of 7 p.m. on Wednesday. This will allow construction crews to facilitate overnight asphalt repairs.
Signage has been put in place to detour drivers using Fanshawe Park Road and Medway Road. The city is also encouraging drivers to use alternative routes to reach their destination until the road is reopened.
Access to businesses and properties in this area will be maintained throughout the work, the city reassured.
Sunningdale is expected to be reopened around 7 a.m. on Thursday.
