Pedestrian dies in hit-and-run

A 34-year-old pedestrian has died following a fatal collision that took place early Saturday morning.

Police responded to a hit-and-run collision involving a St. Thomas resident around 1:20 a.m.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital and later died from their injuries.

Police are asking residents who live in the Sunset Drive, Stanley Street, Bush Line and Elm Street area to check their cameras or if you recognize the vehicle to contact St. Thomas police at 519-631-1224 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
