Four people are facing drug trafficking charges after a search of three homes by Woodstock police turned up over $273,000 worth of cocaine and fentanyl.
The police criminal intelligence and drug enforcement unit launched the investigation in January. On Monday and Tuesday, officers searched two Brantford homes and a Paris home in relation to the ongoing probe.
The search saw $127,980 of cocaine, $144,320 of fentanyl, $1,160 in prescription medications, and a 2016 Kia Sorrento seized. Police also found $2,110 in Canadian currency during the searches.
Four Brantford residents, ranging in age from 27 to 47, were arrested. They have since been charged with multiple counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
