More than a week after a man was found stabbed in London's Pond Mills neighbourhood, charges have been laid against a 25-year-old man.
London police and paramedics were called to about an altercation between two men on Commissioners Road East, just east of Pond Mills Road around 3:30 a.m. on February 18. When they arrived they found a man suffering from a serious injury.
He was taken to hospital and has since been released.
At the time, police referred to the incident as a "serious assault." On Tuesday, police confirmed it was a stabbing.
A 25-year-old London man is charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charges on Thursday.
The injured man and the accused were known to each other, police confirmed.
