A Valentine's Day dispute in Aylmer took a violent turn, sending a man to hospital and a woman to lock-up.
Aylmer police were called about the incident just after 2 a.m. last Wednesday.
Investigators determined a man and woman were arguing when the woman allegedly bit the man's nose.
The bite was so severe the man had to be taken to hospital for treatment.
A 37-year-old Aylmer woman was arrested and charged with assault. She has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court next month, police said.
