London-Middlesex and Elgin County motorists are being warned of tricky driving conditions.
Environment Canada issued a winter weather travel advisory early Saturday morning and ended it just before 10:30 a.m.
Heavy lake-effect flurries were expected in the area with 2 to 5 centimetres predicted to build up in a matter of hours.
The weather agency warned that travel conditions could be hazardous due to reduced visibility and accumulating snow.
"Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become difficult to navigate," a statement advised. "Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions."
