The third man wanted in connection with a shooting in east London last February has been arrested.
London police announced on Tuesday 23-year-old Hayden Denton of Brantford has turned himself in and remains in custody. He was charged last week along with two other men with half a dozen offences including aggravated assault, armed robbery, use of a firearm during the commission of an indictable offence, possession of a firearm, and wearing a disguise with intent.
The charges stem from a shooting at a home on Langmuir Avenue, east of Highbury Avenue that was heard around 12:50 p.m. on February 21, 2023. The incident left one person with non-life threatening injuries.
The other two men charged in the shooting, 45-year-old Paul Joseph St. Pierre of Hamilton and 29-year-old Dylan Scremin of Brantford, were already in police custody on unrelated matters when the charges were laid. However, Denton was still being sought, prompting police to ask the public for help locating him.
"Police would like to thank the public for sharing the information," police said on Tuesday.
Denton is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
