A break-in near the London International Airport has left a 29-year-old man facing four charges including one for endangering the safety of an aircraft.
An employee of the business in the area of Crumlin Sideroad and Dundas Street called 911 to alert London police about a person breaking in on Saturday afternoon. Police were told the intruder had stolen a vehicle from the business and was traveling across private property.
Officers arrived and arrested a suspect a short distance away.
The stolen vehicle was recovered and no injuries were reported, police said.
A 29-year-old London man is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, break and enter and theft, dangerous driving, and endangering the safety of an aircraft. The man is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on February 5.
