Charges have been laid against a 53-year-old man after a crash involving a St. Thomas police cruiser that was responding to an emergency call.
The fully marked cruiser with lights and siren activated was hit by a northbound vehicle at the intersection of Talbot Street and First Avenue in the city's downtown on Thursday.
No injuries were reported.
Police did not indicate the extent of damage caused to the cruiser.
A 53-year-old St. Thomas man has been charged with failure to stop on right for an emergency vehicle.
