The London Fire Department has cleared the scene of a structure fire that broke out Saturday morning.
Fire crews responded to the fire at an industrial building currently under demolition just before 6 a.m.
An aerial platform was requested to fight the blaze from above. Tankers also had to be deployed as there's no hydrant access in the area.
Fire officials confirmed that a safety officer was on scene to ensure everyone's safety.
Residents near 120 Weston Street were encouraged to keep all windows and doors shut while they fought the blaze. Heavy, low-lying smoke caused concern for nearby residents.
No cause or damage estimate has been determined at this time.
The fire department has released the building to the owner and demolition company.
