Weapons and drug-related charges have been laid against a 16-year-old London boy.
Members of the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Unit, made up of OPP and London police officers, arrested the teen after finding him in a vehicle in the area of Taylor Road and Sevilla Park Place Wednesday afternoon.
He was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
During his arrest, police seized a loaded handgun, 84 hydromorphone pills, and over $4,000 in cash.
The teen, who cannot be named because of his age, is now additionally charged with 9 offences including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a loaded regulated firearm, occupying a vehicle with a firearm, and failure to comply with a sentence order.
He remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on Monday.
