One person is dead after a crash on Highway 401 in Woodstock.
The single-vehicle collision happened in the westbound lanes between Norwich Avenue and Sweaburg Road around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to police, a transport truck was fully engulfed in flames north of the roadway upon arrival.
The 59-year-old driver from Windsor was pronounced dead at the scene.
All westbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours while police investigated, with two lanes opening mid-morning.
The highway has since fully re-opened.
