South London intersection to be closed for one week

Another week, another intersection closure.

Starting Monday, the intersection of Exeter Road and White Oak Road will be closed for one week.

The closure is to allow crews to install a sanitary sewer as part of the White Oak Road and Exeter Road intersection improvement project. The reconstruction of the intersection will extend underground infrastructure, improve street lighting, update traffic signals, and expand the active transportation network with the addition of sidewalks and bike lanes, according to the City of London.

Detour signs are in place directing drivers on Wharncliffe Road, Wonderland Road, Westminster Drive, and Wellington Road.

The intersection will reopen next Monday.
