One person is dead after a van collided with a school bus east of Tillsonburg.
Emergency crews were called to the two-vehicle collision on Potters Road in Norwich Township around 7:35 a.m. on Thursday.
The driver of the van was taken to hospital where they were later pronounced dead, Oxford OPP said.
The school bus driver, who was the only person on the bus, was not hurt.
Potters Road between Oxford Road 13 and Middlesex Line was closed while police investigated the cause of the crash. It re-opened in the afternoon.
This was the second serious crash involving a school bus in the region on Thursday. A school bus collided with a tree on John Street South in Stratford around 8:45 a.m. Twelve students who were on board the bus were not hurt, Stratford police said. The crash destroyed the front of the bus and toppled the tree. Police continue to investigate.
