For the fourth time in recent days, London police are investigating a report of gunfire.
About 6 p.m. Monday, police were called to a home on Shelborne Street, where a citizen reported damage to a window.
"Officers found evidence that a firearm was discharged," police said in a news release issued Tuesday afternoon. "Through the course of the investigation, police determined that the shooting may have taken place the previous evening."
No injuries were reported. Police believe this was a random incident.
The investigation comes after police announced on Monday that they were investigating three separate incidents of gunfire in the city.
Anyone with any information about any of the four incidents in asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
