OPP investigating fatal crash between vehicle and cyclist

Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal collision near Adelaide-Metcalfe.

Police reported that the crash happened just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday, between a vehicle and a cyclist on Egremont Drive.

The cyclist, a 37-year-old from Adelaide-Metcalfe, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured.

The identity of the deceased individual will not be released out of respect for the family's privacy.

The OPP closed Egremont between Robotham Road and Centre Road to conduct their investigation.
