A crash that caused non-life-threatening injuries has led to charges against an Elgin OPP officer.
Emergency crews were called to the two-vehicle crash on Sunset Drive in Central Elgin around 9:20 a.m. on Monday. A police cruiser had collided with another vehicle.
It is unclear how many people were hurt, but police confirmed injuries were non-life threatening.
An investigation into the cause of the collision has resulted in a 23-year-old veteran constable of the Elgin OPP being charged with failure to yield to traffic on a through highway.
