London police say a 16-year-old girl is charged after allegedly threatening someone with a knife.
Police were called to the area of Dundas Street and Clarke Road just before noon on Wednesday after a teenage girl became involved in an argument with a female she knew.
According to police, the teen threatening the female with a knife before running from the scene.
Officers got a description of the suspect and made an arrest a short distance away. A knife was seized by police.
"One of the officers sustained minor injuries not requiring medical attention during the interaction," police said.
No other injuries were reported.
A 16-year-old girl is charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats of death or bodily harm, possession of a weapon, and assaulting a peace officer.
Due to her age, the accused cannot be named.
