Drivers who rely on a main artery in east London to get where they are going will have to deal with some slow downs for much of the day Wednesday.
The City of London has announced Veterans Memorial Parkway between Oxford Street East and River Road will have temporary lane restrictions from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The reduced lanes are to allow crews to complete scheduled grass cutting and maintenance along the parkway.
Over the seven hour period, north and southbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction.
The work is weather permitting, the city noted.
