London Fire Engine No. 7 responds to alarm (Image courtesy of the London Fire Department via X)The London Fire Department (LFD) responded to an apartment fire in the northeast of the city.
The fire was quickly extinguished around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday and the scene was cleared by 1 p.m.
The fire department reported that there were no injuries due to the incident, but that the McNay Street building was filled with smoke.
There is no cause or damage estimate available at this time.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
