The death of a person in a Strathroy park does not appear to be suspicious, according to police.
Strathroy-Caradoc police were called to the green space behind the West Middlesex Memorial Arena at 334 Metcalfe Street West around 1 p.m. on Monday after a passerby found a dead body.
A sudden death investigation was launched by police. However, investigators have said the death does not appear to be suspicious with no signs of foul play.
The park was closed while investigators were on scene. It was reopened to the public late in the afternoon.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
