A dispute over a fire that turned physical has led to assault charges against two neighbours in St. Thomas.
St. Thomas police were called about a confrontation in a north-end neighbourhood on Monday.
Officers determined a conversation between two neighbours about a fire that had been started escalated with property being thrown. The dispute then turned into a physical altercation, police said.
A 32-year-old has been charged with assault, while a 28-year-old has been charged with assault with a weapon. Police did not specify what type of weapon was used in the incident.
